Vegas Day 1

We have been planning this trip to Vegas for over a year.  We had planned to go for Estevan's 30th birthday.  I made our reservations back in January and we have been counting down ever since.  It was finally here.  We met at our house at 8:30 to head to the airport.  We got to the aiport and had a drink to toast to the next few days with awesome friends.

Stopped at the liquor store in the airport to get the party started.

We got to the hotel and checked in.  Once we all dropped our bags off in our respective rooms we met up to have a shot before heading out for the afternoon.

 

We met up with Heather, Estevan and Josh at Fat Burger to have some lunch. It was pretty good.  We are always talking about who has the best burger, so we always like to try new places.  We walked down to New York New York to ride the roller coaster.  I have rode it in the past, but I don't remember it being quite as bumpy as it was this time.  Randy and I rode in the very last row, so maybe that had something to do with it. 

We then walked over to the M&M store.  We wanted to get Kendall some purple M&Ms and Talan some green ones.  I love this store.  There is so much cool stuff here. Afterwards, we headed back to the hotel.  We all got dressed up for the night.  This was going to be our dressed up, going out night. 

 

 

We were meeting at Caesar's Palace to have dinner at Joe's Seafood, Steak and Stone Crab.  Randy, Troy and I headed over a little early so the boys could do some gambling.  Cindy and Jay met up with us for dinner.  They had arrived earlier in the day.  We had an amazing dinner.  We were wanting to go to the nightclub Pure, but it was going to be pretty expensive.  So, we instead went across the street to the Carnival Bar.  It is outside, they have live music and awesome bartenders.  We danced the night away and sang along to the band.  It was getting to be pretty late so Randy, Troy and I headed back to the hotel.  Everyone else stayed back for a bit.  I think they said they got back to the hotel around 4:30am.
