School holiday

We decided to take the kids to the park because it was going to be awesome outside.  We didn't want them to be stuck inside on their day off.  Apparently everyone else had the same idea.  It was pretty busy, but the kids had fun running around.
There was a little boy about 7 running around bullying some of the other kids on the playground.  I think he made 5-6 kids cry by kicking or hitting them.  Come to find out he was with a neighbor, but was autistic.  Obviously, that's not something I personally have to deal with on a daily basis.  It was hard to watch him be mean to the kids especially one of mine, but it must be hard to have to always keep him away from others because it's hard for him to play well with other kids.  We found the lady he was there with and just asked her to keep a closer eye on him since he was having issues with playing nicely.  It was a hard situation, my first in person bullying situation at that. I hope my kids do not ever treat other kids that way.

Talan's Valentine's day party

Kendall and I went to school to join Talan for his party.  They had an ice cream sundae party.  The kids were well behaved and seemed to really enjoy the ice cream.  They had already passed out their valentines to each other earlier in the day.  They all had full boxes of candy and treats. After they were done, they played Pictionary.

Valentine's Dinner

We went to Benihana's for Valentine's dinner.  It was good as usual.  The kids love it and always eat really well.  Of course we were stuffed by the time we left.  We had to go on Wednesday though because Troy and I were working on Friday and it's just plain crazy to eat out on the actual holiday.

Valentine goodies

I have become good friends with a couple of the neighbor ladies.  They are awesome and we always have a good time together.  For Valentine's Day, we decided each of us would make some sort of Valentine inspired goodie.  We then put them together to make goodie baskets for our kid's teachers and the husbands work. They looked fantastic and everything tasted wonderful.  We had brownies, rice krispie treats, puppy chow, and chocolate covered wafers.

Kendall's 1st haircut

I have trimmed Kendall's hair every now and then when it needed it, but I finally decided it needed to be done professionally.  I needed a trim, so I did some trading out of services with Shannon for hair cuts.  Kendall was so excited.  She was such a big girl the whole time.  She listened really well and did a great job.  She always looks pretty to me, but I think the hair cut makes her look like a big girl.

Kendall knows how to take "selfies" now.....lol
