Night out

Usually I work on Saturday nights, but I needed a break.  We went and had dinner at Gordon Biersch at Shops at Legacy.  It was really good and we had never been there before.  After dinner, we walked over to Sambuca 360.  They had a really awesome cover band and great dancing music.  Everyone thought the crowd was too old for us, but I didn't care.  I always say it's who you are with that matters. We had a great time and I was glad I took the night off to hang out with these crazies!

Thanksgiving

We began our Thanksgiving with our usual trip to Bass Pro for our annual Santa picture. Talan is so cute.  He writes out his list and is so quick to walk up and hand it right to Santa.  Kendall is ok.  She is not so impressed.  She sat in his lap with no problems but didn't want to smile.

 We went to Rick and Betty's house for lunch.  The food was awesome and the company was great.  I hardly get to see this side of the family, so it was nice to spend some time with them.

 After lunch we headed down to Mom and Dad's.  I was so excited that EVERYONE was going to be here this year.  It has been a long time since we were all together.  Joanna and Mom spent all day cooking.  I think the Thanksgiving cooking will be passed on to Joanna when Mom doesn't want to do it anymore.  She did an amazing job!  I really appreciated her and mom cooking for all of us.  I am definitely not a chef.  The kids played well together and it was a nice day for the most part so they were able to go outside for a little bit.

Kendall's 1st salon trip

Kendall loves it when Debbie paints her nails.  I thought it would be fun to see how she would do at the nail salon with me today.  She actually did a good job.  She sat still for a little bit.  She messed up her fingers 2 times and her toes 2 times.  My nail ladies are so awesome.  They kept saying they would fix it again and again.  After the 2nd time, I told them not to worry about it. Of course she picked out purple.  I can't wait until she is old enough to always go with me.  This will be our special time.

Soccer and Top golf

We were so excited Talan was invited to play in an outdoor soccer tournament with another team.  It was a participation tournament, which I hate, but it was fun nonetheless.  I was only able to watch 1 of the 3 games they played, but Talan scored 4 goals. 

 After soccer we met Veronica and Alec at Top golf.  Estevan had come to Talan's soccer game.  Troy and Paul were at the deer lease, so Debbie came to the game and top golf with us as well.  We had a good time as usual.  I can't hit a golf ball to save my life.  I think Talan hits it farther than I do. 

Juliet turns 1!

Juliet is 1!  Jayme and Jeremy put together an awesome birthday party for close family and friends at their house. We had a great time celebrating with everyone.  Juliet sure is one loved little girl. The cousins sure do love each other.  Well, until you leave them alone and Parker comes out crying and with a black eye the next day.  I don't think any of us will ever know exactly what happened between Parker and Kendall, but I'm sure they both had a little to do with it.  Kendall is gonna be the bully of the group I'm sure of it. Sorry in advance everyone.
