Lunch with friends

One of my friends dad opened up a new restaurant in Allen called Palios. They are known for their pizza. He always brings us pizza up to work on his way home, so we thought we would go support his opening. Randy, the kids and I, Avery and Alivia, Estevan and Alec met up there for lunch. I knew that Tom would probably give us discount because that is how awesome he is, but he completely bought our lunch. It was amazing as always and we really appreciate his hospitality.

Congratulations Mr. And Mrs. Newsome

One of my best friends, Estevan and his wife, Heather got married a few weeks ago. They decided to have a very simple ceremony with just their parents and 2 very best friends at the Justice of the Peace. I wanted to do something special for them, so I threw them a dinner party. I was trying to make it a surprise, but Estevan knew better. I think he and Heather were pleasantly surprised at the guests that were able to come.  We had dinner at Buca di Beppo. We love to do some of our friend dinners or birthday dinners here because they have great spaces for big parties.  I really appreciate everyone that came to celebrate this happy new couple. I think everyone had a great time.
To many more years of joy and happiness. The Westons love you Mr. And Mrs. Newsome.

Happy Mother's Day

I am thankful this year and every year first and foremost for my amazing mom. I say every year that I hope I can be as amazing to my kids as she has been to Aaron and us girls. Now that I have Talan and Kendall, mother's day is a just a little more special. I couldn't imagine my life without them in it. Some days are great and others are a struggle, but I wouldn't trade any of them for anything. I truly hope these two babies will forever know my love for them goes to the moon and back.
I also couldn't make it through this crazy life without my two mother in laws. They love all of us unconditionally and I am forever grateful.
I had to miss Talan's soccer game today because of work. Randy said they didn't do well anyways, but I still don't like missing. After work, I met Randy and the kids at my mom and dad's house. We were able to see everyone except the Shirleys and Sharghis. We sure do miss seeing them on these special days. We had a yummy kabob dinner and awesome chocolate Bundt cake for dessert.
Randy left with Talan to make it to our soccer game. I was going to miss this game to hang with mom. So, we all went to leave, I was going to try and make it by halftime to watch the second half. I got to 30 and mom sent a text saying we had all forgot our flowers dad had bought us. I felt horrible so I turned back around and went to get my flowers. It also allowed me to spend some one on one time with mom and dad.
I want to wish a Happy Mother's Day to my amazing sisters. Also, Happy Mother's Day to Debbie and Melinda. But mostly to my mom. Thank you for every loving, caring and mean thing you ever had to do to help make me the person I am today. I would be nothing without you!

Happy 2nd birthday Kendall

My beautiful, loving daughter, happy birthday. You have brought soo much joy to our lives in such a short time. I never thought i could love another baby the way I loved Talan, but you have shown me I can. It is a different love. A mother and daughter's bond is just special. You are a firecracker for sure. One minute you are happy as can be and the next you are blowing up. I feel sorry for the boys later on.....  Your favorite word right now is no. Imagine that!  We have tried potty training over the last cpl of months, as you were very interested at first. You have your moments of greatness and others you could care less. I don't blame you though. We will get it soon enough. We have tried soccer tots with you. Sometimes you love it and other times you cry most of the class. I think its the structure of the class you don't like. You are a very good girl most of the time. You just go with the flow. You are very loving and sweet  and love to give kisses. You love your "babies" and want to take them everywhere.  We wenr to the Dr for your checkup and she said you are absolutely perfect. You weigh 26 lbs and are 34 inches tall. You got 2 shots and that did not make you happy.
We had an awesome party with lots of family and friends. We had a bounce house and slide that you and Parker loved. Of course, Daddy has his annual baseball in the street party. Everyone loves it and I am pretty sure our whole street was here this year. Thanks to Heather for making the cake balls and Alyssa for the cake. They were awesome. You have a lot of people that love you.
I love you, Kendall with everything I am. I hope I can guide you in the right direction to continue to be beautiful and loving and an amazing person inside and out. Happy birthday sweet girl.
