Halloween 2014

We started our day off by joining Talan at school for his classroom party.  They had fun decorating pumpkins and playing games.
Afterwards, we came home and began getting ready for the evening.  It has become a tradition now to do Halloween at our house.  Everyone pitches in and we have dinner after we take the kids around the neighborhood.  This is Randy's favorite holiday, so he goes all out. I think in the future we won't have to buy so much candy because people won't want to come down our side of the street to get scared.

Vegas Day 3

We all went and had breakfast together. The portion sizes at this place were crazy. I think everyone could have shared 3 or 4 plates and been plenty satisfied. After breakfast, Randy and I walked the strip down to the M and M store to get the kids their favorite colors of candy. That night we went to Serendipity. The service was awful but the dessert looked amazing. Overall we had an amazing trip as usual.

Vegas day 2

All the guys went to play golf on Saturday morning so we went back over to the Linq.  They were having a food truck festival and it seemed pretty cool.  There were a ton of things to choose from.  When the guys got back from golfing they went to eat at Gordon Ramsey grill in Caesar's.  I met them down there for a bit after I worked out in the gym. We all went back to our rooms to get ready for the evening.  We were having dinner at the The Old  Homestead Steakhouse. This was a really nice steakhouse and I was excited to enjoy dinner with everyone.  After dinner, we went over to The Carnival bar. They always have live music and it's great people watching. We had some drinks and danced  the night away.

Mom and Jayme Vegas birthdays Day 1

Mom turns 60 in December and Jayme turned 30 in September. So where else do you celebrate milestone birthdays? VEGAS of course.  We arrived on Friday morning and checked in at Caesars Palace.  We were going to Habib's for lunch.  This has to be the best part of any trip to Vegas.  He takes such good care of us.  The food is always top notch and so amazing.
We went to see Absinthe that evening.  It's a risque type show in a tent in front of the hotel.  It was super funny and we all really enjoyed it.  After the show, Randy, Mom and Dad and I walked over to the new Linq area across the street.  It's all new restaurants, bars, shops and a ferris wheel.  We decided to stop in for a little night time dessert and it was really good.
