Christmas with the Sharghis

We headed to Mom and Dad's house around 3:oo.  It had begun to snow.  Mom had thought about rescheduling Christmas, as she was worried about everyone's drive home later that night.  I couldn't think about not seeing my family that day.  It wasn't so bad getting out there.  Jayme and Jeremy had decided that they were going to stay home.  I was sad that they would not be joining us, but understood that they did not want to take the risk with Juliet.  Denton always seems to get it worse than everyone else.

You can see here that no one in this family is spoiled........

After we ate a wonderful dinner, we opened presents.  We have continued the secret santa tradition that we started 4 years ago.  I think it works out well for everyone.  It gives everyone an opportunity to put things on a wish list and helps the gifter get them something they want.

Talan got a new Nintendo DS that was from everyone.  I bought him a couple of games to go with it that he got to open when we got home. He also got some puzzles and some books.

Parker was so funny.  He was tired of waiting on everyone else, so he just dug in.

Here is the snow that almost ruined our day. Troy built us a snowman to greet us when we got home.
This is the super cool ribbon holder I got from Ashley.  I almost have enough ribbon for a second one.  Thank you Ashley.
Kendall got a new ride.  She also got a new cooking table that her and Talan love to make me breakfast with everyday.  She got a new Rangers tank top that will be awesome for all the games we go to this year.
Randy got a new deer lease jacket from Jayme.  He also got some ammo.

We are very thankful to everyone.  As we say every year, "it's over already, that's it."
I love Christmas and can't wait until next year.
