Kendall turns 5!!!

I am not really sure where the time has gone. My little girl is growing up right before my eyes.  I am in constant awe of her beauty and am happy that she is sassy and confident.  She is definitely my child and for that I am grateful.  

We went and had lunch with Talan on Kendall's birthday. 

Saturday Kendall had a game before the birthday party and she was a beast.  She scored 8 goals and never quit! This season was amazing as she finally found her love for the game.  She surpassed many kids on the team and to me was the most improved!

Kendall of course wanted to be like Talan so we had her birthday party at the skating rink too.  She had been asking for some roller blades.  So, she got some for her birthday and after about 30 minutes of crying because she kept falling we had to revert to regular skates.  Again, we had a great time with lots of family and friends coming out to celebrate.

I decided to get Kendall's pictures done for her birthday since we haven't had any done of her since she was a baby.  These are just a few from my phone.  As soon as I get the others I will load them. There were a couple that were super cute.

THE HAIL STORM

This might have been one of the scariest things I've ever witnessed.  The amount of damage the hail from this storm caused is beyond amazing. Over 80% of the homes in Wylie were affected. We had 3 broken windows, multiple holes in the roof, boat damage and car damage like you wouldn't believe. They totaled the Titan. The boat is in the shop.  My car is scheduled to be fixed. And the house will be repaired sometime this summer.  It's scary now when they say severe storms because you don't know what to expect.  I would've never expected this. 

 Randy had been wanting the new Titan XD.  We had decided to wait until the boat and his car were paid off to get it, but that decision came a little sooner than expected.  I will say that I do love this truck. It's big and it lets people know I mean business. LOL

Happy Easter

We had a wonderful Easter with family.  This was my first holiday to cook for a big group and all of the parents at that. I think it turned out pretty well.  I don't think anyone went home with an empty belly.
