Christmas 2017

This year was the first year since we have had kids that we didn't have to leave our house on Christmas day. It was nice to wake up and enjoy the kids opening up their gifts without having to rush to get ready to go somewhere else.  I was also excited that we were hosting Christmas for my family this year in our newly renovated house.

I remember last year Joanna suprising all of us and telling us that we would be having Christmas at their house this year.  Welllllllll interestingly enough that did not happen.  She and Billy decided to have a baby instead.  While Prestyn was born on the 23rd, obviously they would not be able to join us on Christmas day. We enjoyed having everyone over.  We had a delicious dinner and yummy dessert.  Once we were done with the festivities, we all loaded up to go to the hospital, so all of the cousins could meet Prestyn.  I hope Joanna wasn't overwhelmed with everyone being there, but I know we all couldn't stand to think of them being at the hospital alone on Christmas.  After all, we had all waited so long for them to be home for Christmas.
