Ranger game

We got to go to a ranger game today because I was on a team at work that won a contest. We had a good time as always.

Oklahoma

Randy and a couple of the dads from the soccer team took their boys up to Oklahoma for the weekend. They rented a couple of cabins and took the boat. Thy cooked out, went tubing and had a great time bonding. What a great experience for all of them to share.

Our new outdoor season started and along with it came new uniforms. Talan was chosen as captain for the first game.

Championship

Another championship with these amazing boys. It was so fun to celebrate their championship with a little silly string party!

First Grade

And just like that we have a first grader.  We are so excited to have Mrs. Stunkard this year as Talan's teacher. She is close in age to me and her kids are a year younger than Talan and Kendall. We are looking forward to another wonderful year.

Ouch

So on a lovely Friday night at Texas Roadhouse, I cut myself on a glass. Luckily it was close to closing so we werent so busy. One of the guys drove me up to the emergency room while Randy drove to meet me. I called mom when I was sitting in the waiting room. She couldn't understand anything I was saying because I was crying. Once they got me back to the room they started to clean it out. I would advise never watching the numbing part. Holy crap that hurt.  The Dr was shoving his hand into my wrist making sure there was no glass left over. Then he started the stitches. It didn't take too long. I tried to go to work the next morning but the pain meds had me all kinds of messed up. So I left and went home to pass out. I never really felt better until about 8 that night. I went to get the stitches out about 2 weeks later and it looks horrible. I have a terrible scar but oh well. Scars are just stories we can tell later.
