These boys continue to improve and play so well together. We are so blessed to have each of them on our team. We could not have asked for better boys and most of all great and supportive parents. They really hold a special place in mine and Randy's heart. I hope they play together for a long time.
We went to the Rangers game on Sunday, April 7 against the Angels. We knew it would be a good series because Josh Hamilton signed there and there was a lot of animosity amongst the Texas fans. Yu Darvish was pitching against Jared Weaver so we expected a pitcher's duel. Instead we scored plenty of runs and saw lots of fireworks in the win. Troy and I went to the shop to look around and he bought Talan a really awesome new jacket. We had a good time in some great seats. Here's hoping to a world series win in baseball town!
Talan's favorite player on the Texas Rangers is Nelson Cruz. For his birthday, Debbie, Paul, David and Melinda got him a fathead for his big boy room. It looks amazing and he loves it!
We won our soccer coed championship game on Friday night in a shootout. It was an intense game and our team played great, especially after having already played a game earlier. Good job Blitz.

We went to David and Melinda's on Tuesday to spend some time with Morgan and Bailey while they were in town. The kids wanted to fly kites. The wind was perfect, until it picked up. Talan let go of his kite and it ended up in a tree and crossing the power line. He just knew that Poppa could get it back and he did. Bailey's kite ended up in another tree. Melinda worked to get it out, but the tail didn't make it. We went to lunch afterwards. Then went to the mesquite animal shelter. Morgan and Bailey were looking to adopt a new puppy. They found a really cute Shepard mix that they are going to name Izzy. We had a great afternoon.
We started the morning doing our Easter egg hunt at home and seeing what the bunny left everyone. We headed to Mom and Dad's to spend the evening there. Talan and Kendall did an easter egg hunt. Kendall got some new jammies and Talan got a new swim top and trunks. We had a yummy filet and baked potato dinner. We sure did miss seeing Billy, Joanna and Parker.
