Easter 2014
The kids and Randy went to the deer lease for the night and I had to work Sunday morning. I went to Mom and Dad's to have dinner and see everyone. I didn't actually see Talan and Kendall until Easter night when we all got home. They loved the stuff the Easter Bunny brought them.
As usual we were having a ridiculous conversation at the dinner table. Juliet was not having it. It was the funniest thing to see her do this at just the right time!

Dodd Carnival
Talan's school has a carnival every year that the PTA uses to raise money. The kids and I walked over to the school to hang out for a couple of hours. They had a bounce house and racing bouncer. They had a dunk tank and little train. They had different activities down each of the halls inside the school. The kids did bowling and golf. We ran into the Strikers and Kendall and Ryleigh rode the train together. Afterwards, we ran into Caden and her brother Cole. We hung out with them the rest of the night. The kids had a lot of fun.

Field trip to the Dallas Arboretum
After 2 planned field trips to the Dallas Arboretum being canceled due to bad weather, we finally got to go. I was very excited I had the opportunity to go with Talan and his class. We walked around and looked at the flowers. We then went to a class to learn about the cycle of life. The kids got to sing a song about how a caterpillar evolves into a butterfly. We then had a picnic lunch. We finally made it to the children's garden but didn't have very much time to spend observing which I was a little disappointed. It was a little chilly but we still managed to have fun.
Kendall's 1st soccer season
We decided it was time to get Kendall involved in something. Obviously soccer is big in our family, so it seemed fitting. Randy wanted to be her coach just like he is for Talan. We tried to explain to her that she needed to go get that ball and no crying. Well it didn't go so well today. She didn't like that a few of the other kids pushed her. She was sure to tell us about it. I know she will get the hang of it and be awesome. She was definitely the cutest soccer player on the field today!
